Overview
The Weave is A.Y.A's signature Whoop band: a single strip of full-grain, vegetable-tanned leather, hand-cut and interlaced in a traditional basket weave, then set in solid metal hardware and lined for daily wear. It is compatible with Whoop 4.0 and Whoop 5.0.
Lifestyle
This is not a band you put on for a workout and take off after. It is designed to live on your wrist through the gym, the office, and everything in between — quietly present every time you check a stat, close a ring, or glance at the time.
Craftsmanship Story
Each band takes roughly forty minutes to weave by hand. There is no machine shortcut for this technique — the same basket-weave method used in heritage Italian leather ateliers. Edges are burnished by hand and hardware is engraved with A.Y.A and the words that hold the brand together: You against You.
Material Story
Full-grain leather is used because it improves with time — it softens, it develops a patina, and it looks better a year from now than it does today. That is the entire point of the material, and of the mindset it represents.
The Five Colorways
- Carbon Black — Tone-on-tone woven leather with blackened PVD hardware. No shine, no logo shouting — just the weave, disappearing into itself.
- Burgundy Reserve — Deep oxblood woven leather set in polished gold hardware, lined in warm taupe. The color of discipline kept quiet.
- Espresso Brown — Rich espresso leather, hand-woven and finished in gold, with a soft taupe lining that ages exactly the way good leather should.
- Forest Green — A near-black forest green, woven and gold-finished — the color of early mornings before anyone else is awake.
- Kelly Green — The one bold colorway in the line, finished in brushed steel. For the days you want the mindset to show a little.
